Razing of Teen Girls Part II

In Part I, I looked at why teen girls have been adopting a gender-ideology worldview and considering for themselves if they could be transgender. Now I want to look at our current culture and where the enormous cultural influencer (public school system) stands on the issue. 

A Detransitioner

The California Teachers Association, the National Education Association, and the Biden administration have stood up and fully backed ‘the gender-affirming care.’ Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health, Rachel Levine said, “There is no argument among medical professionals – pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. – about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.” She added, “Adolescence is hard and puberty is hard. What if you are going through the wrong puberty?”1

Last week Chloe Cole, a detransitioner, spoke to Congress. She is just one of a quickly growing number of women speaking out against the insanity of medical professionals who inject puberty blockers, testosterone, and cut off perfectly healthy breasts of young girls. Cole said, “We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they were born wrong, that they are right to reject their own bodies and feel uncomfortable with their own skin.1

Cole explained to Congress when she was a girl; she felt uncomfortable when she entered puberty. She even told her parents she wanted to transition to a boy. Cole continued, “We need to stop telling children that puberty is an option. That they can choose what kind of puberty they will go through just [like] they can choose what clothes to wear or music to listen to.”1

She now recognizes the tragic results and life-long irreversible procedures that gender-affirming care delivers. “I speak to you today as a victim of one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of the United States of America,” Cole went on. “I speak to you in the hope that you will have the courage to bring the scandal to an end and ensure that other vulnerable teenagers, children and young adults, don’t go through what I went through.”1

The Sliding Scale

There have always been women who broke the rules of decorum and pushed the boundaries within their culture. Eric Metaxas wrote about several in his book, 7 Women and The Secret Of Their Greatness. Other examples, such as Harriet Tubman, Amelia Airhart, Rosa Parks, and Sally Ride, took on leading roles and stepped up to meet a need in a male-dominated world. Yet none of them considered themselves a man. Sally Ride, a lesbian, kept it a secret, recognizing the significance of being the first woman in space and did not want to subtract from that historic moment. 

California, New Jersey, Colorado, and Illinois have mandated LGBTQ history curricula in public schools, and more states will follow. This new agenda speaks to these extraordinary women but in terms that subtract from who they were. Now children learn strong women are not entirely female, but more on the male side of the spectrum.2 Imagine a sliding scale, 80% female and 20% male, or 60% female and 40% male, etc. The more successful, the more influential, the more noteworthy she is, the more male she is. How does that give credit where credit is due? Women who were leaders, strong, powerful, influential, and trailblazers were more of a man than a woman. Does that help you ladies? 

On this sliding scale, girls who excel at math or wrestling would not be what we used to call path-breakers, but they are now considered ‘gender-expressive.’ They should consider their gender beyond ‘just’ female, but something more, male. 

Abigail Shrier, the author of Irreversible Damage, writes, “While all this sexual identity politics marches through the front door, a large-scale robbery is taking place: the theft of women’s achievement. The more incredible a woman is, the more barriers she busts through, the more ‘gender nonconforming’ she is deemed to be. In this perverse schema, by definition, the more amazing a woman is, the less she counts as a woman.”2

Woman Of The Year

But it gets worse. The world was shocked when in 2015, Caitlyn Jenner, formally Bruce Jenner, was namedWoman of the Year by Glamour Magazine.

James Smith, who lost his wife when she rushed into one of the twin towers on 9/11, had something to say about it; frankly, he was livid. Glamour awarded his wife the ‘Woman of the Year Award’ posthumously. As a New York police officer, she had rushed into the twin towers to save who she could and consequently lost her life, bravely trying to save others. 

James Smith promptly pulled the award off a shelf, which was to honor his wife, and returned it to Glamour. Smith wrote, “Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?” Smith wrote. “At a time when we have women in the armed forces fighting and dying for our country, heroic doctors fighting deadly diseases, women police and firefighters putting their lives on the line for total strangers, brave women overcoming life threatening diseases . . . the list of possibilities goes on . . . is this the best you could do?”3

Fast forward, and now we have Lia Thomas nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year. The last season Thomas competed as a member of the men’s team; he was ranked:

  • 554th in the 200 freestyle
  • 65th in the 500 freestyle
  • 32nd in the 1650 freestyle

As transgender swimming against women, Thomas ranked: 

  • 5th in the 200 freestyle
  • 1st in the 500 freestyle
  • 8th in the 1650 freestyle4

It is undeniable making the shift from men’s competition to women’s, made an enormous difference in the success of Thomas, a biological male competing against biological females. 

You Can Change Your Race

Of course, if you can change your gender, you should be able to change your race. Do you think I am joking? Thousands of teens are practicing “race change to another” or RCTA. NBC reports, “Practitioners of what they call “race change to another,” or RCTA, purport to be able to manifest physical changes in their appearance and even their genetics to become a different race. They tune in to subliminal videos that claim can give them an ‘East Asian appearance’ or ‘Korean DNA.'”5

One high school girl, Alisa, has been practicing RCTA using ‘subliminals.’ Some creators of this material on TikTok and Youtube have hundreds of thousands of subscribers and millions of views. Alisa claims her vision has cleared, her eyelids have become smaller, and her hair is darker. Alisa said those who practice RCTA are not harming anyone, “We only live once, so I think we should do everything we want to do in life, even if others think it’s not OK or you can’t achieve it.”5 That quote represents the mindset of millions of youth today who have unlimited access to their phones. “…should be able to do everything we want to do in life, even if others think it’s not OK…” 

Many experts point out it is impossible to change your race, but others push back and saying race and culture are synonymous. 

For example, Kevin Nadal, a professor of psychology at City University of New York, says, “There is a privilege in being able to change your race or to say that you’re changing your race. There are many people who would be unable to ever change their race. Particularly, Black people in this country would be unable to say all of a sudden ‘I’m white’ and be treated with the same privileges that white people have.”5

Early Indoctrination

The California Education Board provides a book for Kindergarten teachers to read to their students. The title is, Who Are You? The Kid’s Guide to Gender Identity by Brook Pessin-Whedbee. The author writes, “Babies can’t talk, so grown-ups make a guess by looking at their bodies. This is the sex assigned to you at birth, male or female.”6

There is no guessing involved; every adult in the room can clearly see the sex and gender of the infant, but now we are told adults assign their gender and sometimes get it wrong. You would think that after eight years of medical school, the OBGYN could tell the difference between a baby boy and a baby girl. 

Teaching twenty years ago, children learned how to line up, share, write their names, color within the lines, and trust adults outside of their families. Now these adults teach them about the sliding scale of gender identity so they can begin to pick their own place on the rainbow spectrum. 

Gone are the days of story time when the teacher would read Curious George, Goodnight Moon, Love You Forever, Moo Baa la la la, Rainbow Fish, Dr. Seuss, and countless other titles that never once suggested to a child to consider what their gender is. It is ludicrous to place the topic of gender identity on children that young. 

Be Informed

If you are a parent or grandparent of young children, look into what books are in their school library. Ask what books the teachers will read to students during the school year. You should also see if your school district has policies that district personnel can or should keep a student’s transgender status hidden from parents or guardians. Furthermore, look at your school calendar to see if they celebrate various LGBTQ+ days. There are lots to choose from. October is LGBTQ+ history month which includes ‘Coming Out Day’ and ‘International Pronouns Day.’ November follows with ‘Transgender Awareness Week’ (in case you forget what occurred in October), which includes ‘Transgender Day of Remembrance.’ In March, you will find ‘Transgender Visibility Month and April includes ‘Day of Silence/ Day of Action.’ In May, we find Harvey Milk Day, and finally, we have Pride Month in June to kick off the summer festivities.7

Seventeen Thousand and Counting

Instruction and persuasion do not end in the first few years of school; it continues into Jr. High and High School. Almost eighteen thousand U.S. schools have policies restricting parents’ knowledge of their child’s decision to consider or pursue a transgender status. 

Positive Prevention PLUS is a widely used health curriculum in middle schools that engages gender-identity instruction. Students are encouraged to imagine themselves as a different gender. Teachers ask students what changes in their life would take place. How would they feel being another gender? What would be fun being another gender? These questions and other instruction dovetail into students asking themselves if they are entirely female.8

Why The Big Push for Pro-LGBTQ+?

There is no doubt that LGBTQ+ students are, and have been, bullied by their peers and teachers, some to the point of suicide. 

In 2019 the CDC examined dozens of school districts in 19 states and found higher rates of violence and self-harm by transgender high school students. Other LGBTQ organizations and activist groups confirm the statistics.9

Teachers who are on the front lines with these students need to be aware and watchful for behavior that would fall into bullying. These students need to know they are loved and appreciated, no matter how they feel and who they think they are. Any student who bullies another student for a difference, be it physical, sexual, religious, or political, should be dealt with immediately.  

But when bullying involves a transgender, it falls into a completely different level of consequence. Suppose, for instance, classmates teased a student wearing a Jewish skullcap or yarmulke, pronounced “yamaka.” Typically you would hear from the teacher, “Knock it off. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Do you even know what that hat symbolizes? You have detention. Go to the office. Go see the principal.”

Yet we don’t find schools embedding Jewish beliefs into elementary, Jr. High, and High School curricula. Grades K-12 do not offer instruction on Jewish customs and theologies. Students are not required to believe in Yahweh or study the Old Testament. Nor do students have to participate in and celebrate Pride Month, oh, I mean Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. 

What Can You Do?

I have read multiple accounts where the health professional told the parent they have two choices. Parents can continue to push back and fight the child’s desire to transition from girl to boy, but if they commit suicide, it is the parent’s fault. The choice? You can have a dead daughter or a healthy boy. This option is called a false dilemma and deceitfully limits the available options. 

Teenagers are trying to figure out who they are, and this sudden epidemic (a 1000% increase) of adolescent girls saying they are a boy should alarm anyone with a young girl in their family. Question the narrative, and don’t be bullied into acquiescing to the gender ideology prevalent in our schools. 

You are the parent, and *they* are your responsibility. Take what steps you need to extend the timeline of adolescence to adulthood. Most importantly, remove them from their peer group, schools, and online communities that continually point them toward this self-destructive behavior. Cut out the carte blanche access to the smartphone. Some families have taken a sabbatical and traveled for a year. Others have unplugged and moved into a community that shares their values. 

These are drastic measures, but not a single family who has found success has regretted making the hard choices to save their daughter from a life of pain and regret. 

Not a Flaw

Girls are different; they are not defective boys. When girls, and boys for that matter, go online, they bathe in propaganda. Parents have to get a handle on what their children view and limit their exposure. Coupled with that, have conversations with them about the gender-ideology craze and lay out the facts. Don’t isolate them from what is going on, but innoculate them. Give them facts, candid conversations, and show them the man behind the screen. That way, she can make thoughtful decisions like the scarecrow, be compassionate and understanding like the tin man, and bravely face the culture that will ostracize her for not marching with the wicked witch of the west.
